Love yearns and draws all people close to it´s flame
Psalm 91.
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High.
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Father Mother, encompassing all.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
Love, completeness
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler
and from the deadly pestilence.
Love yearns for purity of thought
4 He will cover you with his pinions,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his jfaithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Love´s Dwelling
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.
There is none like you in whom I have my being
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
Infinite, without number
8 You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.
Incorporeal
9 Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place
the Most High, who is my refuge.
Our Home
10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you,
no plague come near your tent.
Structure of Truth and Love
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
Our Provider
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
Our Protection
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder;
the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.
Defender of Spiritual Truth.
14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
Cause and Creator
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will rescue him and honor him.
Reflecting Love
16 With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”
Immortal Harmonious Love.
Love yearns and draws all people close to it´s flame
The definition of Trinity (Glory be etc…prayer) from Judge Hanna, CS journal July 1915.
“In response to a request, it was the writer’s privilege to receive from Mrs. Eddy a definition of the Trinity which has never been published in the exact words in which this one is couched. Feeling that it will be helpful in connection with the purpose of this article, this definition is here given: “Father is man’s divine Principle, Love. Son is God’s man —His image or spiritual likeness. Holy Ghost is Divine Science, the Messiah or Comforter. Jesus in the flesh was the prophet or wayshower to Life, Truth, and Love, and out of the flesh Jesus was the Christ, the spiritual idea, or image and likeness of God.” ”
From Science and Health 1898 Edition
“The heavenly law is broken by trespassing upon man’s individual right of self-government. We have no authority in Christian Science, and no moral right, to attempt to influence the thoughts of another, except it be to benefit him, or we are personally requested to give him aid. In mental practice you must not forget that erring human opinions, conflicting selfish motives, and ignorant attempts to do good often render you incapable of knowing or judging accurately the needs of your fellow-men. Therefore this need must be personally expressed, and your aid solicited, before it is silently imparted to patients or people.
Ignorance, subtlety, and false charity do not forever conceal error; it will in time disclose and kill itself. The Exposure. recuperative action of the system, when mentally sustained by Truth, goes on naturally. When the reverse of Truth seems true to material sense, impart spiritual understanding, which destroys false evidence without frightening or discouraging the patient. Expose and denounce the claim of evil, in all its forms, but acknowledge no reality in them. A sinner is not reformed merely by assuring him that he cannot be a sinner, because there is no sin. To put down the claim of sin you must detect it, remove the mask, point out the illusion, and thus get the victory over sin, and prove its unreality.
A sinner is afraid to cast the first stone. He may say, as a subterfuge, that evil is unreal; but to prove it, he must demonstrate his statement. To assume there are no claims of evil, and yet indulge them, is a moral offence. Blindness and self-righteousness cling fast to iniquity. When the Publican’s wail went out to the great heart of Love, it won his humble desire. Evil which obtains in the bodily senses, but which the heart condemns, has no foundation; but if evil is uncondemned, it is undenied. Under such circumstances, to say there is no evil, is an evil in itself. Evasion of Truth cripples integrity, and casts thee down from the pinnacle”.
Ave Maria (scientific Interpretation)
